4 challahs

    Cooking Instructions
    1. Pour dry yeast into the center well.
    2. Place dry yeast into the center well.
    3. Add 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 cup of warm water and a handful of the flour into the center well.
    4. Let it bubble up for 5 minutes.
    5. The dry yeast can be mixed into the flour mixture itself without hurting the dough in any way but I like to put it in the center.
    6. Add 2 tbsp of salt around the edges of flour.
    7. Add 1 cup of sugar to the flour.
    8. Add 1 cup of oil to the middle.
    9. Add 4 beaten eggs to the middle.
    10. Add 3 cups warm water to the middle.

Knead for 5 to 10 minutes.
Let rise for 1-1/2 hours (punch down every 30 minutes).
    Preheat oven to 350F.
